The Background and Significance of Construction Waste Generating

It has become a problem for waste management that the yearly quantity of construction waste in China has accounted for more than 40%of the total amount of urban waste. In 2005, Construction Ministry issued the Construction Waste Administrative Provisions, requiring compelling management to construction waste, formulating that any working unit and person are not allowed to mix construction waste into domestic garbage, encouraging the state to comprehensively use construction waste and inspiring construction and execution organization to preferentially adopt the comprehensive reutilized products of construction waste, which provide the policy foundation for construction waste integrated use in China.

Construction waste recycling totally changed the traditional single-way linear economic mode-“resource to product to pollution discharge” and fully realized the circular economic reaction flow-“resource to product to recycled resource to new product”.

The End Products of Recycled Construction Waste
