Quartz sand is usually the band sand, marine sand and weathered sand with high silica content. It also contains clay, mica, ferric oxide and organic impurities besides its main composition--silica. Quartz sand is mainly applied as raw material in chemical industry, glass and ceramic industries, electronic industry, or widely used as fireproofing, fluxing medium in metallurgical industry.

The line is consists of vibrating feeder, jaw crusher, hydraulic cone crusher, vertical shaft impact crusher(sand maker), vibrating screen and belt conveyor. All the models could be rearranged according to different technological requirements of the clients.

Initially, quartz sand is primarily crushed by coarse crusher, then transported by belt conveyor into fine crusher for secondary crushing. After that the material is screened and selected by vibrating screen, the material fits the feeding size will be handed to sand maker, and the rest will be returned for secondary crushing. 25%-45% of the fed material becomes final product after crushing and washing, and the rest will be handed and fed into sand maker again.

This production line is of low pollution, low operation cost, high capacity, high automation, high crushing ratio, energy conservation, easy maintenance. The artificial sand manufactured by this line is up to the national construction sand standard with the features of even granule, fine shape and reasonable grain size distribution.
