Secondly, remove the battery. When the jaw crusher is stored for a long time, remember to remove the battery. Place the battery in a dry and freeze-proofing spot and keep the surface clean and dry. It is forbidden to put conducting objects on the battery. While dismantling the storage battery, cut off the cathode lines at first and then cut off the positive lines. However, it is right to connect the positive line at first and then connect the cathode. Lead-acid battery should be charged once a month.
Thirdly, rust protection. Before jaw crusher storage, we should determine whether to choose torch-up or choose the method of spray paint to repair the machine according to the size of antirust paint falling off area. The best way for antirust of metal exposed parts is to smear butter.
Finally is engine processing. Before the jaw crusher storage, let out the cooling water inside the engine and replace the engine oil. New oil is usually neutral and therefore will not rust the metal parts of the engine. Fill up the fuel tank with diesel to avoid fuel tank rust. If it is permitted, add preservatives to it. Start the engine once a month during the downtime and make the jaw crusher do short distance travel. Its goal is to make lubrication place to build a new oil film.
