How to Solve the Problem of Crusher Blocking up?

Crusher is a quite common machine used in mineral industry mainly to crush all kinds of stone materials and the particle size of products is different according to the different crushing theories. The layout whose particle size is longer than 3mm exceeds 50% in the total layout. Of course there are many types of crushers, such as cone crusher and impact crusher, however, we are not gonging to give more detailed statements of those but spend more time on the rush issue of crushers--blocking up.

It is well known to the people who have used the crushers that it’s easily to come up the problem of blocking up when crushers are during the program of work which is difficult for people to the solve. If seriously, it may happen once every three or four hours. Whenever this issue comes up, the crusher will stop work, not only the production will be affected but also much time and energy will be waisted. So how shall we deal with that problem that appears quite often and are there any good resolutions? The answer is definitely YES. Hereof, the following two resolutions are provided to deal with the problem of the crusher blocking up. On one hand, crusher blocking up is one of the common problems of crusher usage, probably it is because of the problem existing in the design of the crusher itself. But mostly, the blocking up problem is caused by impertinent operations. On the other hand, if the feedstock is charged too fast and the load become larger, it will also cause the problem of crusher blocking up. So, according to the reasons given above, you must pay much more attention to it when using the crusher. You should pay attention to the large deflection angle of the ampere meter needle at any time. The electrical machinery will burn to damage if for a long time the input current is over rating current which means the dynamo is over load. You should reduce or close the feedstock door as soon as possibly whenever this issue appears. Also you can change the way of feedstock by adding feeders to control the feedstock to solve the problem. There are two kind of feeders--manual feeder and automatic feeder. So user should select the proper feeder according to the practical condition.

There is another reason causes the stop working of stone crusher. That is too much materials accumulating in the crusher body that cannot go out immediately. So the moving cone stilled than the dynamo stops work. When that issue happens, it’ll take three or four hours to empty all the materials in the crusher. To prevent crusher from blocking up, we use the sound and light indicator to control the materials feeding. As the operating ampere is well related to the amount of the materials in the crusher, so another solution came up. That is setting up a electric bell and a flashing alarm lamp at the feeder entrance linked to the Relay in electric cabinet. When the belt-conveyor reaches the set current, the electric relay contact so the alarm light begins to flash and the bell begins to ring. When the mining car driver receives the alarm hints, he will stop feeding materials so the blocking up will disappear.
