Firstly, you should choose correctly the model of rotor bearing. Double row centripetal spherical roller bearing possesses the advantages of strong self-aligning bearing capacity and its performance is better. You had better choose this kind of rotor bearing, and the lifespan of rotor bearing should be 5000 to 10000 hours.

Secondly, it is advisable for operators to improve the balance quality of rotor. The rotor of impact crusher has a large volume and a fast rotation speed. Rotor is easier to produce centrifugal force due to casting deviation of rotor and quality deviation after installing plate hammer. This centrifugal force makes impact crusher get forced vibration. As a result, it will destroy machine elements and bearing. Therefore, you must conduct balance test of impact crusher. If the diameter of rotor block is small, you can change block quality in the two sides of rotor to balance. If not, you can weld counting gravity outside rotor.

Thirdly, you should improve the stress condition of impact crusher bearing. Impact load on bearing depends on impulse of rotor and support compliance of bearing pedestal. If you build up the support compliance of bearing pedestal, it will decrease impact load on bearing. Therefore, you can put proper thick rubber sheet between support frame and bearing pedestal to improve support compliance of bearing pedestal. As a result, you improve the stress condition of impact crusher bearing and it can prolong using lifespan.

Last but not least, adjusting the cooperative relationship for each other is very vital. Impact load of different rolling elements is different. The rolling element suffers the largest impact load while it is under impact load together; similarly, inner and outer ring raceway tolerates the largest stress impact while it is contacting rolling element. In order to avoid suffering stress on only point, you should make inner ring coordinate well with outer ring. If you make outer ring coordinate more loosely, outer ring may produce small range move, and it will add up more maximum stress point. As a result, it can prolong lifespan of impact crusher.
